C.S. LING EYE SPECIALIST CENTRE has been established for more than 20 years, since early 1999. It holds an ambulatory care centre certificate based on all the requirements set by the Private Healthcare Facilities and Services Act 1998.

The centre is managed by Dr. Ling Chai Seng. He graduated from the University of London and went on to obtain Eye Specialty Fellowship from the Royal College of Edinburgh, UK (FRCS Edin). After completing all his eye specialist training in the UK, he returned to Sarawak in 1995.

His expertise in retinal surgery covers an extensive range of retina conditions. He was the first to introduce vitreo-retinal detachment surgeries in the state of Sarawak.
